On my instagram page, the_happy_healing_hut, I’ve been sharing an advent of well-being tips, encouraging people to find a moment for themselves as the festive season gets into full swing time, with increased demands of extra work, shopping, socialising and all the special festive events that make the season so very memorable.
Taking a moment out of each day to centre and ground yourself will help you to get the most out of the season.

Today find some physical release by pulling your shoulders up as close to your ears as you can, pull them a little higher, breathe in as you hold them up and count to 5, then, all at once, let them drop as you do a big exhale.
Feel the relief as the tension you’ve been gathering in your upper back, shoulders and neck all drops away.
This one is great if you’re hunched over a screen working, shopping and getting everything organised for the big dude in the red suit, so practice it as often as you feel the need
